Tim Johnston

Chairman

Tim is Executive Chairman of AMION Consulting, a firm that advises on regeneration and economic development. He is an economist and a Chartered Accountant, and his other non-executive director roles include Aintree University Hospital, the NW Urban Investment Fund and Liverpool Philharmonic. As Chairman of Langtree, Tim provides advice for the stewardship of the joint ventures,  drawing on his wide public sector and development experience.

Adrian Clery

Non-Executive Director

Adrian is a director at Colliers International based in London, focusing on funding and specialist investment, including joint ventures. During his years at Colliers he has worked in all aspects of property from property management through industrial and development agency, insolvency and fund management to investment work. Adrian has worked closely with Langtree on development and investment projects, and brings a national investment perspective to the team.

John Downes

Group Chief Executive

John is the Group Chief Executive of Langtree, where he has led the business through a period of significant growth. Before joining Langtree he held a senior position with English Partnerships in Liverpool, and prior to this he worked at British Coal where he headed the development team responsible for redeveloping closing collieries.

John has 20 years’ experience at Langtree. John is a Chartered Surveyor and has excellent knowledge of the grant regime and the regeneration industry.

Malcolm Jackson

Group Chief Operating Officer

Malcolm is Langtree’s Group Chief Operating Officer. His background includes six years at Wainhomes where his roles included Group Company Secretary and Divisional Finance Director. Prior to this Malcolm worked for KPMG in the North West and Australia.  He is a Chartered Accountant and an Associate Member of Corporate Treasurers.  Malcolm has 14 years’ experience at Langtree.  Malcolm has been closely involved in the establishing and subsequent management of the group’s existing JV projects.

Jayne Furnival

Group Property Director

Jayne has been employed by Langtree for over 10 years, and as Group Property Director she has has overall responsibility for letting, marketing and asset management of the investment properties. Jayne has been a key part of letting and selling of the properties and bringing the portfolio up to a mature occupancy and ensured the management and retention of occupiers is maintained. Also during this time, Jayne has had involvement with the preparation and implementation of joint ventures within the business and assessment of new sites.

Neal Biddle

Group Development Director

Neal is Langtree’s Group Development Director with 15 years’ experience in commercial development. Neal joined Langtree from MAG Developments (part of Manchester Airports Group). He was part of the Manchester Airport Property and Development team which brought forward the Airport City development masterplan securing £650m investment from Chinese investors. Neal led the delivery of the Airport City South Logistics Park and the infrastructure development strategy for the whole masterplan.

David Brooks

Consultant

David is a Chartered Surveyor with 40 years’ experience in the UK property market, principally in the Industrial and Logistics sectors. He was an Equity Partner and Head of the UK Industrial and Logistics team at King Sturge and more latterly a Director of Jones Lang LaSalle based in Manchester. Whilst David retired from full time employment a number of years ago, he is working with Langtree as a consultant on prospective acquisitions for their clients.

Tom Bellis

Group Finance Director

Tom is a Chartered Accountant, with 6 years’ experience at Langtree. After graduating with a first class degree from the University of Manchester, he joined the graduate programme at Baker Tilly gaining his ACA qualification in 2008. His background also includes roles in group accounting and treasury at MWH Global Inc.

Simon Foden

Group Development Manager

Simon joined Langtree in 2016 as Development Manager. He graduated with a degree in Property Investment from Nottingham Trent University in 2012 and then spent 3 years in Industrial Agency, acting for a wide range of property companies and developers in the lettings and sales of Industrial property across the North West. Simon is part of the Development team, assisting in the management and development of sites across the portfolio.

Laura McDonald

Group Assistant Accountant

Laura joined Langtree in 2011 and has progressed to her current role as Assistant Accountant. Whilst working for the company she has gained her AAT qualification and also holds a B.A. degree with a specialism in Maths. Laura’s previous finance experience is within private healthcare and an IT infrastructure business.

Lynne Whitaker

Group Accounts Clerk

Lynne has over five years’ experience as an Accounts Clerk at Langtree and has worked in finance for over 30 years. Her previous experience includes working in the housebuilding sector for a number of regional housebuilders.

Group Accounts Administrator

Eve joined the accounting team at Langtree in July 2017 as an apprentice after completing her A-Levels. She is studying towards an AAT qualification and will Initially work within sales ledger.

Group Head of Marketing

Jo has over 20 years of marketing experience, including over a decade to date at Langtree as Group Head of Marketing. She is responsible for all aspects of the marketing mix for the business from conception through to its day-to-day marketing requirements. Jo has previously worked in both the private and public sectors in the UK and Australia.

Deb Campion

Office Manager

Deb has 20 years’ experience at Langtree working at Board level on behalf of directors on a wide range of administrative activities, dealing externally with senior executives in the public and private sector managing ongoing working arrangements with key partners. Responsible for all Langtree and JV Board admin functions. As Office Manager she oversees all day-to-day activities at Langtree’s offices to ensure the smooth running of the business and personnel.

Kathryn Smart

Group Associate Property Director

Kathryn has been at Langtree for 6 years and has over 10 years property experience. Kathryn is involved in all aspects of asset management, lettings & marketing of investment properties with particular focus on industrial and managed/serviced offices. Prior to Langtree Kathryn worked for the Northwest Regional Development Agency in their property department.

Ian Taggart

Group Property Manager

Ian studied the Build Environment at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating in 2012. He has 4 years’ experience working in the property management sector, managing residential and commercial buildings. Ian is responsible for the management and lettings of Langtree’s managed/serviced offices and industrial estates across the North West.

John Leake

Business Development Manager, Sci-Tech Daresbury

John has been the Business Development Manager at Sci-Tech Daresbury since 2006 with responsibility for attracting and supporting companies on site, and developing strategic partnerships. He started work at Unilever in a variety of roles in the UK & USA, and has also worked in Ineos.  John was Chairman of the North West Innovation Network  and is a member of the Cheshire & Warrington Enterprise Partnership Innovation Strategy Board.

Paul Treloar

Business Support Manager, Sci-Tech Daresbury

Paul is responsible for engaging with the management teams of high technology companies to establish them at Sci-Tech Daresbury and work with them to accelerate the growth of their businesses, and he has supported the successful scale up of the site since 2003. Prior to this, Paul spent some 10 years in founding and growing a number of technology companies after his first spin out from Manchester University.  He holds a PhD in sensor technology.

Lee Williams

Head of Facilities Management, Sci-Tech Daresbury

Lee is Head of Facilities Management at Sci-Tech Daresbury, resposible for overseeing The Innovation Centre, Vanugard House, and Techspace One & Two.  He has previously covered a property portfolio including Home Office, Nuclear, Aviation, Biomedical and Hotels across the UK and ROI. Lee is an experienced property agent and a member of the British Institute of Facility Managers with extensive knowledge in hard, fabric and soft services holding a passion for delivering the best in class property services.

Jessica Ward

Assistant Building Manager, The Innovation Centre

Jessica is the Assistant Building Manager for The Innovation Centre. Before joining Langtree, she was a receptionist at Birchwood Park assisting the Building Managers. Jessica has over 8 years’ experience of working within the customer service industry.

Pita Gainsbury

Receptionist/Office Administrator, The Innovation Centre

Pita works as Receptionist and Office Administrator at The Innovation Centre since it opened in September 2004.  Pita has a BSc in marketing and over 20 years’ experience as an executive secretary, initially with a multi-national investment company in the Philippines and then moved to work with Brunei’s largest interior design and construction company.  She ran her own general trading company before coming to live in England in 2002.

Pat is a Receptionist at The Innovation Centre & Techspace One on Sci-Tech Daresbury. She has over 30 years administration and customer service experience, gained in the Arts, Education and Retail sectors.

Elaine is a receptionist at Vanguard House and has worked for the company for 2 years. Prior to this she had a long career in the Civil Service.

Carole Williams

Assistant Building Manager, St James Business Centre

Carole is the Executive Suite Secretary at St James Business Centre where she provides secretarial support to tenants and administrative support to Langtree’s Group Property Director.  Carole previously has 20 years’ experience as a legal secretary/legal assistant, and during this time she was also an office manager for a sole practitioner where she gained experience managing a small office.

Bev King

Senior Receptionist, St James Business Centre

Bev has worked at St James Business Centre for the last 21 years, where she runs the tenant and visitor approach to the building as their first point of contact. Bev has previously worked for the Royal British Legion.

Myra Johnston

Receptionist, St James Business Centre

Myra is a Receptionist at St James Business Centre having joined in February 2017. She has over 30 years’ experience in customer service, having worked for a major retail bank in supervisory and chief cashier roles and a customer service advisor for a local Housing Association.

Sylvie Morton

Business Development Manager, The Base

Sylvie is responsible for attracting and supporting companies to The Base and developing strategic partnerships. Sylvie has 20 years’ experience in the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering sector, both working for private companies internationally and for Manchester Inward Investment Agency. Sylvie also managed the Manufacturing Advisory Service team for the North West.

Anthony Cassidy

Building Manager, The Base

Anthony is the Building Manager at The Base. An experienced Facilities and Operations Manager with previous experience of mixed use, multi-tenanted buildings, backed up by membership and ongoing studies with the British Institute of Facilities Management. Having previous control of a Grade II* listed building and now a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rated building, has allowed Anthony to build adaptable and broad ranging property management skills.
