ORBITAL INDUSTRY PARK CLOSES IN ON BEING FULLY LET

A new kind of surgical referral centre aiming to be the UKs leading provider of specialist care for pets has opened its high-tech animal hospital at Orbital Industry Park in South Leeds as property managers Langtree readies the ‘no vacancies’ sign.

Frank Pet Surgeons has taken the 7,200 sq ft unit at the popular industry park, with Vickers Oils occupying an 8,867 sq ft unit.  The two deals leave just one unit remaining out of 10 at the 89,000 sq ft development.

“Our service to vets and pet owners requires accommodation that isn’t just best in class, but also welcoming and convenient,” explained Judith Ness of Frank Pet Surgeons.

“We care for much-loved animals that require highly specialised surgery and need care and rest afterwards.  The hospital at Orbital provides us with the room to offer separate cat and dog wards as well as operating theatres containing the latest diagnostic equipment and a fully-equipped laboratory.”

The two deals mark a good start to 2018, says Kathryn Smart, Group Senior Property Manager of Langtree, which manages the industry park on behalf of an institutional client.

“The Yorkshire economy remains robust and the range of tenants at Orbital Industry Park illustrates its diversity perfectly.  By focusing our energies on a high-quality refurbishment and a proactive management approach we are able to offer occupiers the standard of premises and service they seek,” she said.

The park holds a prominent position within the well-established Jack Lane Industrial area, and is strategically located just a mile from Leeds City Centre and with direct access to J4 M621.
